Boris Ebzeev, General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC, made a working visit to the Kursk region, during which he held a working meeting devoted to assessing the state of the energy infrastructure in the border areas damaged during the hostilities and organizing its restoration.
The discussion was attended by the acting head of the regional security committee Oleg Goryachev, a representative of the ONF Ivan Skiba, chiefs of border Distribution Zones and specialists from Kurskenergo.
During the meeting, two stages of restoration work were determined, including a significant number of settlements. At the first stage, power engineers analyze the technical condition of the power supply centres, estimate the time frame for their repair and the necessary resources. The work has already begun.
195 first responding crews will be involved in restoring the power supply. The acting deputy director for security of the Kurskenergo branch, Maksim Barvenov, reported on measures to ensure their safety at the meeting.
“The enemy has been driven out of most of the border territories, now our task is to ensure the maximum return of people there to normal life. Without reliable power supply to the liberated settlements, this is impossible”, Boris Ebzeev emphasized.
