On behalf of General Director of PJSC Rosseti A.V. Ryumin, the head of Rosseti Centre Igor Makovskiy reported to the Minister on the progress of restoration work, the current functioning of the power grid complex in the region and demonstrated radio electronic warfare systems of its own production, which are used by power engineers.
Sergei Tsivilev also inspected Rosseti Centre’s Rapid Deployment Group’s (RDG) camp and talked to the employees. He highly praised the organization of the camp and noted that all the necessary conditions for staying there have been created for the employees: living conditions have been established, measures have been taken for safe living and work. In conclusion, the Minister thanked the power engineers for connecting critical infrastructure facilities in high-risk areas.
Earlier, on 7 August, at a special operational meeting of the Headquarters of the company, a decision was made to deploy the Rapid Deployment Group in the Kursk region to quickly restore power supply to populated areas disrupted by fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
