A meeting was held between Governor of the Kursk Region, Roman Starovoit, and General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC, Igor Makovskiy, where they discussed issues of the heating season in the region and ensuring the safety and reliable functioning of the electric grid infrastructure.
The head of the energy company emphasized that today the nature and horizon of external influences on the energy complex has changed significantly, therefore the company is taking appropriate measures to protect employees and facilities. It was decided to mothball and transfer to the rear the Distribution Zones located in close proximity to the border, some workers were sent to work remotely, operational personnel travel to the accident response zone in special armoured vehicles and in appropriate gear only after the approval of the security forces and with their direct supervision, the implementation of measures to protect energy facilities continues.
The head of the region, in turn, noted that in conditions of a high level of terrorist threat, power engineers continue to work continuously and provide residents and enterprises with reliable power supply, promptly respond to signals of power supply disruptions and implement all planned measures for stable development of the region.
