Today, at the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” at VDNKh in Moscow, power engineers - participants of the Special Military Operation, their relatives and friends gathered. In the “Energy of Life” pavilion, a meeting of the heroes and their families with General Director of Rosseti Centre Igor Makovskiy took place. The communication took place in the format of a conversation.
From the first days of the Special Military Operation, the energy company’s employees have been on the front line: some exchanged the usual power engineering tools for military weapons and stood up to defend their homeland - Russia, while others courageously and steadfastly, with all responsibility, continued to fulfill their professional duty - to help improve life in our new regions.
These actions prove that it is in the character of our people that in difficult times for the Motherland, they do not feel sorry for themselves, and lend a shoulder to the country. Of the eight heroically killed employees of Rosseti Centre, seven were awarded the Order of Courage posthumously.
At the end of the event, the head of the company spoke about the work of the Foundation “Energy of the Russian Spirit” to provide direct support to the participants of the Special Military Operation, their family members and residents affected by the armed conflict.
“Life is complex and diverse - there are always cases when you need help. We will do everything to ensure that our employees, their families, and our fellow citizens do not feel forgotten, so that they feel a strong shoulder next to them. To those who have lost their loved ones, I want you to know that we share this pain with you. I am grateful to our power engineers, without exaggeration - heroes who chose to serve the Fatherland, their families - for their invaluable support. Low bow to you! It is impossible to achieve success, it is impossible to achieve victories if there is no support, and the most comprehensive one at that. For our part, we fully and completely guarantee it”, said Igor Makovskiy.
