Alexander Brechalov and Igor Makovskiy held a working meeting

23 January 2024 Head of the Udmurt Republic Alexander Brechalov and General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region Igor Makovskiy discussed current issues of the operation of Udmurtenergo’s power grid complex and the passage of the heating season.

The head of the energy company emphasized that in order to ensure reliable power supply to consumers in 2023, the branch allocated 967 million rubles for maintenance and repairs of energy infrastructure facilities, and 1,627 million rubles for modernization and construction of new energy facilities. In 2024, spending on the repair program is planned to increase by more than 6%.

Alexander Brechalov, in turn, noted that during the New Year holidays in the Udmurt Republic there were unfavourable weather phenomena: storm winds, heavy snowfalls and abnormal frosts, however, thanks to the work of the power engineers in the region, the situation remained manageable, and the holiday events were stable.

“Our cooperation from year to year ensures reliable energy supply to residents and industries of Udmurtia. Thanks to effective interaction, the budget burden is also reduced, for example, through energy service contracts. A high degree of social responsibility has always been a distinctive feature of the power engineers, and ensuring uninterrupted power supply under any conditions is an absolute priority”, said Alexander Brechalov.

“Timely and high-quality implementation of repair and investment programs is the key to successfully passing the autumn-winter peak load. The branch’s power engineers not only provide reliable energy supply to residents of Udmurtia around the clock, but also implement projects in the region that contribute to its further socio-economic development”, stressed Igor Makovskiy.
