Chief Engineer of Rosseti Centre, PJSC Sergey Demidov: despite the abnormally low air temperatures in the regions of the Central Federal District, at the moment all energy facilities are operating stably

5 January 2024 We are observing an increase in individual outages in the 0.4 kV network, which are due to increased non-standard load in households of residential customers. This is happening in the Tula, Vladimir, Yaroslavl, and Kaluga regions.

During the first five days of the new year, the power engineers responded to calls more than 1,500 times. The work was carried out in a variety of ways: from turning on automatic switches in houses to replacing transformers on lines.

Tonight we expect the situation in the Tver region to worsen. We prepare the power grid complex for such conditions in advance and promptly carry out all preparations for the maximum of the autumn-winter period.

Production personnel have been mobilized. 1,425 crews consisting of 4,291 people and 1,836 specialized vehicles are ready for a rapid response. For temporary power supply to consumers, if necessary, there are 2,307 backup sources with a total capacity of 87.5 MW.

The operational situation is being monitored around the clock. The power engineers are doing everything to ensure reliable power supply to residents in all weather conditions.
