Power engineers from Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region monitor the operation of the electric grid complex in an enhanced mode

In connection with the predicted abnormally low air temperatures in the regions of operational responsibility of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, power engineers have been put on high alert, implying the full mobilization of forces and resources.

The company has 1,425 crews ready to carry out possible restoration work, including 4,291 production personnel and 1,836 specialized vehicles. For temporary power supply to consumers, if necessary, 2,307 backup power supply sources with a total capacity of 87.5 MW have been prepared for use.

Operational Headquarters operate in the branches, information exchange has been organized with territorial divisions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and executive authorities.

Special control over the operation of energy facilities has been established. All the crews are equipped with the necessary tools, devices, special clothing, provided with high-performance specialized vehicles, and are prepared to work around the clock in any conditions.
