Igor Artamonov and Igor Makovskiy discussed prospects for development of the region’s power grid complex

9 November 2023 Governor of the Lipetsk region Igor Artamonov and General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region Igor Makovskiy held a working meeting, during which they summed up the work of Lipetsk power engineers in preparing for the heating season and discussed tasks aimed at ensuring sustainable development of the power grid complex of the region.

Igor Makovskiy noted that all activities of the production program of the Lipetskenergo branch, aimed at stably passing the autumn-winter peak load, were completed on time and in full.

The implementation of large and socially significant projects that contribute to the development of the Lipetsk region continues. Grid connection of facilities of the Special Economic Zone and residential areas of the regional centre was carried out. 11 charging stations for electric vehicles and three for electric buses were put into operation. Large-scale work is being carried out to automate the electricity metering system.

“We have common important tasks with the energy sector – stability in the supply of resources and ensuring the safety of citizens. Today we are implementing many joint projects that are of strategic importance and require coordination of common efforts. I am convinced that within the framework of established cooperation we will be able to find effective solutions to develop the region and improve the quality of life of its population,” noted Igor Artamonov.

The Lipetsk region is one of the most developed regions in the company’s perimeter. The region is distinguished by projects that are important for the entire country, which determines the high degree of responsibility of Rosseti Centre in ensuring reliable power supply to the region’s facilities, as well as in the development of the energy complex taking into account new needs and challenges. Work in these areas is carried out in a constant dialogue with the authorities, based on the principles of transparency and constructiveness,” emphasized Igor Makovskiy.
