As part of the operational meeting, Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, congratulated energy students on the successful completion of the season of student crews in 20 branches of the company.
40 student crews took part in the solemn farewell assembly. This summer, 520 students of higher and secondary educational institutions received practical skills at the Companies’ energy facilities.
Under the guidance of experienced mentors, the young people took their first steps in professional development, in practice, not in theory, they learned what it means to be a power engineer. As in previous years, for the entire period, the students, in addition to work, were attracted to the social and cultural life of the branches.
Based on the results of the summer working season, the best crews will be determined as part of the competitive selection, which will take part in the All-Russian Gathering of Energy Crews of PJSC Rosseti.
“Each year, students from specialized educational institutions join the ranks of power engineers in the summer months. The glorious tradition of student crews helps young people understand what real work is, how important teamwork is and what awaits them in the future. For us, student crews are a forge of personnel, an opportunity to talk about the industry, development options and support that await young professionals in our company,” stressed Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region.
