General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC Igor Makovskiy launched a large-scale interdepartmental interregional training. The exercises of power engineers from 11 branches of the company will be held in the Nizhny Novgorod region for 3 days until 29 June.
The purpose of the event is to work out actions to eliminate violations at facilities of the power grid complex in adverse weather conditions. Representatives of regional authorities, supervisory and territorial authorities of federal executive authorities, heads of administrations of municipalities, territorial grid organizations will take part in the exercises. A total of 900 people will be involved in the training.
In the course of practical measures, the power engineers will deploy a mobile situational centre, connect backup power sources, install a prefabricated power line pole, eliminate conditional wire breaks, remove fallen trees, and much more.
“The exercises are part of large, regular work. With this event, we confirm the readiness of our forces and means to act in extreme conditions typical of the autumn-winter period. The training will improve the coherence and efficiency of joint actions of the power engineers, which means strengthening the reliability of power supply in the regions,” Igor Makovskiy emphasized.
