General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region held a working meeting with heads of the unit of the chief engineer of the Companies.
It was noted that only a part of the 20 branches of the companies is working in the usual conditions, with minor changes in the tasks of rapid response. In the Central Federal District, the landscape of loads has changed dramatically in the direction of growth, where the initially requested capacities were not required. Employees of Distribution Zones in border areas work according to special safety regulations.
Igor Makovskiy emphasized that in the current conditions, the unit of the chief engineer must perform its tasks with increased efficiency. Among them are ensuring the quality operation of power facilities, unconditional control over the implementation of all approved programs, auditing production processes, achieving 100% reliability and timeliness of recording technological disturbances in grids, and prompt emergency recovery work.
A special task set by the head of the Companies for the unit of the chief engineer is to prevent injuries at work.
“Modern realities require fast, well-thought-out and effective decisions from power engineers, the introduction of increased industrial safety criteria. Under such conditions, the unit of the chief engineer has a great responsibility to ensure the protection of the life and health of personnel. At the same time, the workers themselves must make the highest demands on themselves in terms of discipline. This is what will help our professional and close-knit team continue to provide reliable power supply to residents in 20 regions of Russia,” the head of the companies stressed.
