Stanislav Voskresensky and Igor Makovskiy discussed the implementation of a program for development of power grids in the Ivanovo region

18 May 2023 Governor of the Ivanovo Region Stanislav Voskresensky and General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC Igor Makovskiy summed up the results of the autumn-winter period 2022-2023 at a working meeting and discussed the course of events within the upcoming heating season.

Thanks to timely and large-scale preparations, the power engineers worked through the past winter with dignity: there were no mass outages, and they also managed to reduce the time of power outages. The head of the energy companies stressed that this year the financing of production programs in the region will be increased by 10%.

An important topic of the meeting was the implementation of the program for the modernization of street lighting systems, which was launched in 2021. Thanks to it, the number of streets with lighting in the capital of the region has reached 97%. The program, which affected almost 50,000 residents of all four districts of the regional centre, was completed ahead of schedule, making the city more comfortable and safer. In 2023, cooperation between the region and Ivenergo will continue.

The head of the region noted the high efficiency of joint projects and discussed further cooperation.

“With the support of the regional authorities, we have managed to implement a number of important investment projects in the Ivanovo region. Our priority is the development of the grid infrastructure and increasing the reliability of power supply, because the comfort of residents, the stable functioning of enterprises and organizations depend on this. This is our main task, and we are focused on its high-quality performance,” said Igor Makovskiy.
