Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, held a meeting with electricians and workers from 11 districts of Udmurtenergo’s Distribution Zones in the main building of the branch in Izhevsk.
A total of 159 people took part in the event. The meeting was also attended by participants of the Special Military Operation and a special project to restore the energy supply of the Kherson, Zaporozhye regions and the DPR.
Opening the meeting, General Director thanked the team for the high results of 2022 and the successful completion of the autumn-winter period, spoke about the current activities of the company in the face of external challenges created by the actions of unfriendly countries, as well as about the selfless work of power engineers in the border and new territories.
Igor Makovskiy emphasized: “We have overcome the pandemic with dignity, and this experience allows us to achieve high results in the changed situation. We immediately realized - as before, there will be no more. In the face of external challenges, the company has strengthened the social protection of employees, paying special attention to those who were called up and left voluntarily to participate in the special operation and their families.”
One of the topics discussed was the holding of events within the framework of the Year of the Young Specialist. Igor Makovskiy noted that the training and adaptation of workers under the age of 35 is the main goal for the next year. Together with the strengthening of the position of young people, the topic of developing competencies in the field of information technology and the widest opportunities that this area opens up for the future of the industry was raised.
“A strong personnel potential has already been formed in the branch, it is very important to strengthen and develop it. After all, the quality and reliability of the functioning of the power grid complex, the stable operation of enterprises and socially significant facilities, light and heat in the homes of residents depend on the professionalism of the team,” stated Igor Makovskiy.
