Power engineers of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region are preparing to work in the conditions of impending bad weather

9 December 2022 According to the Hydrometeorological Centre, on 9 December, in the Belgorod, Vladimir, Voronezh, Kursk, Kostroma, Nizhny Novgorod, Tambov, Tver and Yaroslavl regions, the meteorological situation is expected to worsen, accompanied by a zero crossing, gusty winds, freezing rain, sleet and ice phenomena.

On behalf of Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, branches in the regions where dangerous weather events are expected were mobilized in advance and are in constant contact with the authorities, regional departments of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the Unified Dispatch Centre and other territorial grid organizations.

In the neighbouring regions of the operational responsibility of the companies, mobile crews are ready for prompt departure to possibly assist colleagues in the territories affected by bad weather.

“The power engineers are ready for emergency situations largely thanks to clear logistics, information exchange and constant interaction with regional authorities, emergency situations authorities and municipalities. Possessing operational data, we will promptly mobilize all the necessary forces and means to instantly respond to any challenges and provide consumers with electricity,” Igor Makovskiy stressed.
