Igor Makovskiy: interagency cooperation and new channels of communication with consumers help power engineers in the fight against bad weather

2 December 2022 Over the past week in the Nizhny Novgorod region, Rosseti Centre, PJSC and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC actively held personal meetings and sessions of the Headquarters, in which heads of the prosecutor’s office of the Nizhny Novgorod region and heads of municipalities took part. Particular attention was paid to communication with the leadership of the region and the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod region.

During the dialogues, the removal of the risks of repeated outages was discussed, plans were fixed for repair work, including powering consumers from standby power sources during the restoration of power grids, as well as a check of 345 lines, the results of which will form a program to improve the reliability of the power grid infrastructure. 

Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC, noted that the result of effective communication was the development of new communication channels with consumers and the decision to maximize the consolidation of forces and means. 

In turn, the heads of municipalities thanked the power engineers for the ongoing work to restore power lines and timely assistance.

I would like to thank the employees of IDGC’s electric grid organizations for their invaluable help ...,” Alexander Efremtsev, a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, wrote on social networks.
