The strengthened grouping of power engineers of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region to continue working until the grids are completely brought into a standard state

1 December 2022 On 30 November, Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, held a meeting of the Headquarters for restoring power supply in municipal districts of the Nizhny Novgorod region most affected by the disaster: Vachsky, Sosnovsky, Pavlovsky, Bogorodsky, Dalnekonstantinovsky, Kstovsky, Bolshemurashkinsky, Pilninsky, Sergachsky, Krasnooktyabrsky.

During the meeting, the heads of the Distribution Zones reported on the operational situation, the provision with the necessary resources, the operability of facilities and equipment, as well as the implementation of organizational measures aimed at maintaining the operation of the power grid complex.

The head of the energy company stressed that the power engineers will maintain a reinforced grouping in the region in order to ensure an uninterrupted process to bring the grids affected by freezing rain back to normal. In addition, 123 crews and more than 600 people are currently working.

“The power engineers will continue working in a special mode to eliminate the risks of repeated outages. Fulfillment of our main task of providing reliable power supply is a necessary condition for normal life in the region. We work in all weather conditions and do our best even in the most difficult circumstances,” stressed Igor Makovskiy.
