Specialists of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region restored power supply to consumers

25 November 2022 Wet snow turning into freezing rain and accompanied by an increase in squally wind over the past five days caused power outages in a number of regions of the Companies’ operational responsibility.

The power engineers were provided in advance with all the necessary forces and means to eliminate technological violations. Operational interaction with the forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the leadership of the regions and municipalities was organized. 

2,621 crews were prepared to carry out round-the-clock work, including 9,587 production personnel and 4,380 specialized vehicles. Mobile diesel generator sets were used to provide backup power supply to socially significant facilities.

In the branches of the companies, the operational headquarters of the power engineers worked around the clock, information exchange was organized with the territorial divisions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Unified Call Centre and authorities. Temporary information centres were deployed to promptly inform consumers.
