Igor Makovskiy: the use of domestic technologies guarantees the reliability of the power grid complex in the new conditions

As part of the events dedicated to the meeting of the seventh Collegium, on behalf of Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, the delegates talked with representatives of 14 Russian industrial companies and got acquainted with their key developments, which are already used today by power engineers in their work. Among them are specialized vehicles, relay protection devices and substation automation, robots for performance of operational switching.

Applied technologies such as a prefabricated pole, a ground fault detector, a mobile ice melter, as well as mobile crews for prompt emergency recovery operations were examined.

In continuation of the training and production activities, a visit was made to the Kromsky Distribution Zone of Orelenergo, which became the first highly automated facility in the region.

A feature of the operational and technological management of the Kromsky Distribution Zone is that it is carried out remotely from the interregional Grid Control Centre of Kurskenergo, located in the city of Kursk. In real time, all those present were shown remote control of the work of crews, information systems for interaction with consumers, as well as switching devices of power facilities in the Orel region.

“Thanks to the fact that Rosseti Centre systematically implements the most modern Russian technologies and developments into the work of the power grid complex, we will certainly maintain the quality and reliability of power supply to consumers in the future,” emphasized General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region Igor Makovskiy.
