On behalf of General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC Igor Makovskiy, a meeting of the working group was held to organize reliable power supply for temporary accommodation points and provide social support to citizens who arrived from the territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.
Active deployment of points and reception of residents of the LPR and DPR is carried out in 8 territories where the Companies have their presence: in the Voronezh, Kursk, Belgorod, Lipetsk, Ryazan, Orel, Tula and Nizhny Novgorod regions, where 213 accommodation points have already been formed and 8,535 people have been received.
The heads of branches in their reports noted that the personnel are fully prepared for possible restoration work, for which the necessary emergency stock of equipment and materials has been formed.
In addition, there are backup power supplies ready for use and transportation at any time. The provision of reliable power supply to medical and socially significant institutions located in the regions hosting residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics is under special control.
Please, be reminded that the working group was formed by order of General Director to ensure uninterrupted and high-quality power supply to temporary accommodation points that receive residents of the LPR and DPR.
Power engineers conduct round-the-clock monitoring of the operation of the power grid complex. Interaction was organized at the level of the Headquarters under the government of the regions, the Unified Call Centre and heads of districts to ensure the safety and security of power supply, inspections and maintenance of all electrical installations supplying temporary accommodation facilities were carried out in advance.
In addition, volunteer teams “Energy of Good” with the participation of trade union organizations of the branches of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region carry out activities to provide social support to citizens located in the points. Collection and delivery of essential items was organized. In agreement with the regional headquarters, the energy company has been assigned several accommodation points in the Kursk and Voronezh regions as patrons. In total, 255 people from the branches take part in the volunteer movement. About 2,000 citizens of the DPR and LPR have already received assistance from employees of the companies’ branches in 17 accommodation points.
“Undoubtedly fulfilling their main task of ensuring uninterrupted and high-quality power supply to all socially significant facilities, the power engineers pay close attention to the work of temporary accommodation points. We strive to provide additional assistance to those in need and are ready to provide people in difficult situations with everything they require,” notes Igor Makovskiy.
