Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region PJSC, held an operational meeting, the central topic of which was uninterrupted and high-quality power supply to temporary accommodation points hosting residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.
To date, at least 150 such facilities are expected to operate in 15 subjects of the Companies’ service area, with the possibility of staying over 50,000 people.
The head of the energy companies instructed the heads of the branches to constantly monitor the situation, organize interaction at the level of the Headquarters under the government of the regions, the Unified Сall Centre and heads of districts to ensure the safety of power supply, inspect and maintain all electrical installations that supply temporary accommodation points in advance, and also engage, if necessary, redundant power supplies.
General Director signed an order to create a working group to organize reliable energy supply and work out measures of social support for the evacuated residents of the LPR and DPR. Participants of the volunteer movement of power engineers “League of Good” in the Central and Volga Federal Districts will be involved in the implementation of these events.
“Power engineers do not stand aside when people need help. We are accustomed to respond quickly and act in the most difficult situations. Today, we are fully prepared to fulfill our main task - to ensure uninterrupted and high-quality power supply to temporary accommodation points where adults and children are located. At the same time, our profession is distinguished by indifference and a sensitive attitude to someone else’s misfortune, therefore, if necessary, we are ready to provide social assistance and support to those in need,” stressed Igor Makovskiy.
