Rosseti Centre (the public name of IDGC of Centre, PJSC, ticker — MRKC) and Rosseti Center and Volga Region (the public name of IDGC of Center and Volga Region, PJSC, ticker — MRKP) entered the TOP-20 of the Social Performance Rating of the largest Russian companies in 2020, developed by AK&M Rating Agency and calculated on the basis of the 300 largest companies by revenue. In the category «Power Grids» Rosseti Centre took 2nd place, Rosseti Center and Volga Region — 10th place. Leading positions in the Social Performance Rating of the largest Russian enterprises indicate that the Companies make a significant contribution to social development with a minimum burden on the environment.

Additionally, the AK&M Rating Agency conducts a study of information transparency of companies in the field of sustainable development. Best practice is to publish an annual sustainability report in accordance with international standards, or a full-fledged sustainability section in an annual report. Based on the research, the Sustainability Reporting Rating (ESG) is formed. The rating evaluates both specialized reports in the field of sustainable development, and statements included in the annual report. The level of disclosure of information on sustainable development at the end of 2020 in Rosseti Centre’s report was rated at a high level of 71.4 points (RESG 2), the level of Rosseti Center and Volga Region was assessed as sufficient at 54 points (RESG 3).

The results of the ratings confirm the correctness of the course chosen by the management of the Companies. It aims to maintain a balance of interests between shareholders, employees, consumers and other stakeholders. At the same time, close monitoring of social and environmental risks, as well as corporate governance risks is carried out. Modern business valuation models include not only financial indicators, but also largely take into account non-financial indicators. Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Center and Volga Region will continue to improve the level of information transparency, including through the disclosure of ESG factors. The Companies tirelessly follow the principles of social and environmental responsibility, which is an important component of the contribution to the sustainable development of the territories of their economic activity.
