Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region summed up the work on connection of customers to power grids for 7 months of 2020. During the specified period, the companies executed 33.7 thousand grid connection contracts, the total connection capacity was 1,010.9 MW.
“In the context of the beginning of the transition of the domestic economy to a full-fledged mode of functioning, it is fundamentally important for us to timely and fully fulfill obligations to ensure the energy needs of residents of 20 regions of the country. We continue to carry out grid connection as quickly as possible and expand the range of customer services related to this area,” emphasizes Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region.
Since the beginning of the year, branches of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region have received 49.7 thousand applications for grid connection. Among the consumers who received new capacities are large and significant industrial enterprises, government agencies, social facilities and housing construction developers.
Specialists of the branch “Rosseti Centre Belgorodenergo” provided 500 kW of additional power for new production lines of the Belgorod plant “Advance Pharma”, which specializes in production of drugs for treatment of tuberculosis, HIV, hepatitis. For this, the power engineers constructed a package transformer substation of 6-0.4 kV and laid a cable line. In the Lipetsk region a production base of “Transstroymekhanizatsiya” LLC, one of the leaders in the country’s construction market, was connected to the grid. In the Tver region there is a special laboratory of JSC “Tver Enterprise Gidroelektromontazh”, one of the largest specialized electrical installation enterprises in Russia. In the Ivanovo region 400 kW of new capacity was provided to a large industrial enterprise for production of rolled metal - “Verkhnevolzhsky Servisny Metallo-Centre” LLC.
In the Nizhniy Novgorod region, work has been completed to connect to the grid of the technological zone of the Reserve Data Processing Centre of the Federal State Institution “ODEZ Federal Tax Service of Russia”, which is responsible for reliability of data storage and processing systems in the field of public services. The connected capacity was 10 MW. In addition, the Nizhny Novgorod power engineers, within the framework of the #restoration800 project for the 800th anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod, completed the grid connection of the Manege with the house Nikolskaya church on the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin.
In the Bryansk region, power supply was provided to two production facilities of “Miratorg-Kursk” LLC in the Sevsky district. The total capacity of the facilities was 1 MW. Three facilities of the same enterprise were connected to the power supply in the Dmitrovsky and Trosnyansky districts of the Orel region. As part of the work, the power engineers constructed five kilometres of 10 kV overhead lines with a total length of 5 kilometres and installed distributed automation devices. Also, among the enterprises of the agro-industrial complex connected to the grid of Rosseti Centre is one of the leading companies in the Black Soil Region for production of juices “Spartan” LLC in the Voronezh region.
In July, Kalugaenergo’s specialists connected to the grid a school for 1,000 children in the town of Balabanov, built within the framework of the “Education” national project and the “Modern School” federal project. The opening of the new educational institution allowed to disband overcrowded classrooms and relieve other schools. Lipetskenergo’s power engineers completed work on the provision of electricity to a kindergarten in the Khlevensky district, which is being built within the framework of the federal program “Integrated development of rural areas”. In November, the preschool will accept 80 first kids. A number of already functioning schools and preschool institutions were provided with additional capacity. Among them there is a reconstructed school for 220 pupils in the village of Aleksandrovka Donskaya in the Pavlovsky district of the Voronezh region. The power engineers increased its capacity by 250 kW and raised the power supply reliability category. Another significant facility connected to the grid in this region is a complex of apartment buildings in the regional centre. It was provided with 3.63 MW of maximum power from the new 110 kV “Sputnik” substation.
