Igor Makovskiy in Tver held a meeting of the Headquarters of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region on carrying out restoration and repair work at power facilities of the branch “Tverenergo”

7 January 2021

Please, be reminded that since 4 January the Tver region has been in the zone of an anomalous snow cyclone. Power engineers were mobilized from January 2, and this made it possible to quickly respond to technological violations and begin to eliminate them. To eliminate consequences of the bad weather, off-road vehicles were used, as well as mobile diesel generator sets to connect consumers.

Snowfall resumed in a number of districts today, causing local blackouts on lines. The power engineers promptly carried out the transfer of forces and equipment and eliminated technological violations in the power grids. In addition, Rosseti Centre’s employees perform repair work on the lines that were most affected by the bad weather.

A total of 199 crews, 799 people and 254 vehicles were involved in the restoration and repair work.

Igor Makovskiy noted the positive experience in using the monitoring system for location of crews, based on digital radio communication. This made it possible to monitor the location of the crews online and in a short period of time to transfer to the disconnected lines.

The contact centre of the companies and temporary information centres continue to work in an enhanced mode. You can report power outages and noticed damages to power facilities by calling the single toll-free number at 8-800-220-0-220.
