General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region, Igor Makovskiy, held a meeting of the Headquarters in connection with unfavourable weather conditions

Due to bad weather in 16 regions of the companies’ presence, high alert modes have been introduced.

According to weather forecasters, on 25 December, with preservation until the end of the day and at night on 26 December, strong wind with gusts is expected in the Bryansk, Belgorod, Vladimir, Voronezh, Ivanovo, Kostroma, Kursk, Lipetsk, Orel, Tambov, Kaluga, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tula, Yaroslavl and Tver regions with gusts up to 18 metres per second and snowfall.

Igor Makovskiy set the task for the directors of the branches to strengthen control over the response to possible technological violations in all Distribution Zones, to attract additional funds and forces for the prompt elimination of failures, including from neighbouring regions.

General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region drew particular attention to the need for close interaction with all levels of government in the regions and instructed to regularly inform the heads of municipalities about the operating situation.

A total of 1,932 crews, 8,085 production personnel, 3,134 specialized vehicles are ready to perform possible emergency recovery works in all the regions where Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region are present. Also, if necessary, mobile diesel generator sets will be used to provide backup power supply to socially significant facilities.
