Igor Makovskiy: more than a quarter of all employees of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region were able to undergo vocational training in the first half of the year

Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region summed up the results of personnel training for the first half of the year. Since the beginning of the year, more than 13 thousand employees of the energy companies have received the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills within the framework of various forms of training, which is more than a quarter of the average headcount. More than 95 million rubles were allocated for the personnel training.

The training was carried out, inter alia, according to advanced training programs developed by experts from Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region, taking into account the needs of the power grid complex and the equipment available to the Companies. The current epidemiological situation was also taken into account. Thus, about 1,000 employees of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region underwent corporate training using distance learning technologies on the topic “Digital transformation in the power grid complex”. 25 managers and specialists of the security unit took part in corporate seminars under the program “Main aspects of economic security of power grid enterprises”. 35 managers and specialists of the grid connection unit took part in the program “Connection to grids - tariff and antimonopoly regulation, current state and planned changes in legislation”.

On the one hand, it is motivation for them to work with even greater efficiency, on the other hand, it is a step forward for our company. Regardless of any external factors, we will make every effort to ensure that our specialists can grow, develop, expand their intellectual and professional horizons,” stressed Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region.

In total, during 2020, more than 24 thousand employees of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region will undergo vocational training and improve their qualifications.
