Head of Rosseti Centre Igor Makovskiy and Governor of the Lipetsk Region Igor Artamonov held a working meeting

Preparations for the new autumn-winter period and measures to ensure reliable and uninterrupted power supply during the current epidemiological situation became the main topics on the agenda of the meeting of Head of the Lipetsk Region Administration Igor Artamonov and General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy.

As part of preparing the region’s electric grid complex for the autumn-winter period, specialists of “Rosseti Centre Lipetskenergo” continue to repair one of the most significant energy facilities in the city of Lipetsk - the 110 kV substation “GPP-2”. In particular, the power engineers will repair the key electrical equipment of the substation - a power transformer with a capacity of 63 MVA.

The completion of the repair work is scheduled for late August. As a result, the reliability of energy supply will be provided to 22 thousand residents of the regional centre, a number of socially significant and large industrial enterprises, including the Lipetsk crawler tractor plant, which produces equipment for armed forces of Russia and other countries, as well as facilities of the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant, one of three largest metallurgical enterprises of the country.

Igor Makovskiy also spoke about the implementation of measures for reconstruction of 0.4-10 kV power lines with their transfer to an insulated wire.

In turn, the head of the region thanked the power engineers for reliable and uninterrupted power supply to healthcare facilities, large industrial, agricultural and social enterprises in the region during the current epidemiological situation, and also reviewed and approved the presented set of measures for preparing for the autumn-winter period.

“We have established long-term and constructive cooperation with the leadership of the Lipetsk region. We have taken responsibility for reliable and high-quality power supply in the region under any conditions. Moreover, our main goal is to improve the quality of services for consumers,” Igor Makovskiy noted at the end of the meeting.
