Head of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies in the Tver Region Arsen Grigoryan and General Director of Rosseti Centre Igor Makovskiy held a meeting with heads of municipalities of the Tver region on the aftermath of the hurricane

In Tver, a meeting was held of the interdepartmental headquarters of the region to control the elimination of the consequences of a complex of adverse meteorological phenomena under the leadership of Head of the General Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies for the Tver Region Arsen Grigoryan. It was attended by General Director of Rosseti Centre Igor Makovskiy. During the meeting, the head of the territorial department of the Ministry of Emergencies noted the restoration of energy supply to most of the consumers in the settlements of the region and the generally positive changes in eliminating the consequences of the disaster in the Tver region.

Please, be reminded that a severe hurricane with a thunderstorm, a sharp gusty wind and a hail that struck the Central and Volga Federal Districts the night before and at night led to power outages in a number of regions where Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region are present. The thunderstorm front caused technological failures in the operation of the power grid complexes of the Tver, Yaroslavl, Smolensk and Kaluga regions, the bad weather caused the worst damage to power equipment of the Tver region.

In the Tver region, the headquarters of Rosseti Centre for emergency recovery operations have been deployed, headed by the company’s General Director Igor Makovskiy.

By the decision of Igor Makovskiy, a redeployment of forces and equipment was made here, which allowed moving the load from the powered lines, strengthening the problem areas and accelerating the course of emergency recovery operations. Additionally, 115 crews of 556 people and 120 vehicles were mobilized from other regions to quickly bring the electric grid complex of the Tver region to a normative state and prevent mass outages.

Currently, power supply restoration is being carried out by 75 crews of the Tver branch of Rosseti Centre with a total of 182 personnel. 69 specialized vehicles are involved in the work. Currently, strategically important areas in the Tver region that are in the vector of special attention of Rosseti Centre are the Kalininsky, Konakovsky, Bezhetsky and Kimrsky districts of the region.
