Rosseti Centre strengthened the grouping of forces and means for prompt elimination of consequences of bad weather in the Tver region

On behalf of General Director of Rosseti Centre Igor Makovskiy, 115 crews from 556 people and 120 vehicles were additionally sent from other regions of the company’s service area to carry out emergency repair work and eliminate technological failures.

Please, be reminded that in the evening of 7 July in the Tver region there was a powerful atmospheric front with a thunderstorm, hail and strong winds, some gusts of which reached 15-20 m/s. According to the forecasts of regional meteorologists, the thunderstorm can last even till the 8th, and the wind will increase to 25-30 m/s.

Now the disaster has caused blackouts in the Kalininsky, Konakovsky, Rzhevsky, Rameshkovsky, Likhoslavlsky, Kimrsky, Kashinsky and Kalyazinsky districts of the Tver region. Power engineers at “Rosseti Centre Tverenergo” immediately began emergency repairs. Tverenergo’s specialists are in constant contact with district administrations, EMERCOM divisions and other territorial grid organizations.

Currently, 70 crews of power engineers consisting of 115 personnel are working to eliminate power outages, involving 48 specialized vehicles. Backup power supply sources in the amount of 48 pieces with a capacity of 30 kW and above are ready to use.
