General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy and Vladimir Region Governor Vladimir Sipyagin held a working meeting

The parties discussed the development of the region’s electric grid complex, preparations for the heating season, as well as the functioning of the branch “Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Vladimirenergo” in difficult epidemiological conditions.

“The preparation of the Vladimirenergo branch for reliable operation during the period of winter maximum loads is in strict accordance with the approved schedule. The head of Rosseti, Pavel Livinskiy, set the task, regardless of external circumstances, to withstand all the deadlines of preparation for the heating period. Safety of employees in a pandemic is a priority for Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region along with reliable power supply to consumers. At the production sites, all sanitary and safety regulations are followed in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection,” stressed Igor Makovskiy.

Since the beginning of the year, employees of the electric grid complex have repaired more than 1,100 kilometres of overhead power lines, replaced 584 power line poles. 261 transformer substations were repaired, over 1,040 hectares of routes of overhead power lines were cleared.

Also, as part of the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of the “road map” of the agreement on the interaction of the regional administration and the grid company in the development of the region’s electric grid complex. In particular, issues related to the implementation of the digital transformation program for the electric grid complex and the consolidation of electric grid assets of the region were discussed.

Vladimir Sipyagin thanked Igor Makovskiy for his effective work in the development and modernization of the region’s electric grid complex, and for transferring it into a modern high-tech work format. The head of the region noted his readiness to further develop cooperation with Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region, including within the framework of the current Agreement, which will help ensure a qualitatively new level of electricity supply and further socio-economic development of the Vladimir region.
