General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region, Igor Makovskiy, had a visit to the Tula region.
The head of the companies checked the quality of the functioning of the electric grid infrastructure of “Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Tulenergo” in the pandemic and held a number of working meetings.
In the framework of the meeting with First Deputy Governor of the Tula Region - Chairman of the Government of the Tula Region Valery Sherin, they discussed the preparation of power equipment for the upcoming autumn-winter maximum loads, ways to develop energy infrastructure, the possibility of setting up and maintaining outdoor lighting in settlements of the region.
“The preparation of the Tula electric grid complex for the heating period is carried out in strict accordance with the schedule,” stressed the head of the energy companies. “This task was set for us by Director General of Rosseti Pavel Livinskiy. All work is carried out taking into account the situation in the region, using special regulations, sanitary rules and norms. Moreover, all obligations regarding reliable and high-quality power supply to consumers are fulfilled by us fully and on time.”
Overhaul of 1,323 transformer substations of 10/0.4 kV and 4,450 km of power lines of different voltage classes is planned in the Tula region. Routes along power lines will be cleared and expanded in an area of 1,209 ha, which will reduce the likelihood of technological violations.
During a meeting with the teams of JSC “Tula City Electric Grids” and the Tulenergo branch, Igor Makovskiy introduced the new head of the electric grid enterprises, Yury Volchenkov, who previously headed the Orel branch of the company.
“Combining the managerial functions of two such large and powerful enterprises as Tulenergo and JSC “Tula City Electric Grids” is another step towards consolidating electric grid assets and creating an effective management model,” stressed Igor Makovskiy. “This will improve the reliability and quality of the energy system in the region as a whole.”
At the meeting with the staff, the main focus was on preparing for the passage of the heating period, the further implementation of the concept of digital transformation in the electric grid complex of the Tula region. Actual topics of reducing electricity losses, strengthening payment discipline, industrial safety, setup and maintenance of outdoor lighting in settlements were discussed.
“The main goal of the work of Tula power engineers should remain unchanged - improving the reliability and quality of power supply to consumers, the availability of services,” stressed the head of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region. “Successful completion of all the tasks set will allow us to create favourable conditions for the further development of the Tula region, including from the point of view of investment attractiveness, and will provide comfort and coziness for the region’s residents.”
