On the eve of the Day of Russia, control over the operation of power equipment was strengthened in all branches of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region and Rosseti Centre.
Power engineers checked the technical condition of equipment and emergency control automation, the presence of an emergency stock of materials, the availability of backup sources of the power supply system. Additional measures were taken to enhance fire safety, the fire status of industrial and domestic premises, auxiliary and household buildings and structures, mobile repair shops and crew vehicles was checked.
In order to promptly eliminate technological violations, in case of their emergence in energy systems in 20 regions of the service area of the energy companies, a communication scheme and a procedure for interaction with services of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, territorial divisions of Rostekhnadzor, executive authorities and local self-government, operating companies of Rosseti’s Group, and other territorial power grid companies were developed. They checked the operating availability of all communications and technological dispatch systems.
Currently, the power engineers are working in the mode of maximum mobilization and are making every effort to ensure the uninterrupted operation of power equipment during the holidays and in case of emergency situations, are ready to mobilize all forces and means in the extremely short time to eliminate their consequences. The round-the-clock duty of specialists of dispatching and technical services, first responding and repair crews, duty officers at substations of branches, the executive office of the companies, their branches and production departments was set up.
According to General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region, Igor Makovskiy, if necessary, during the holidays 2,988 crews of 12,935 people, 4,455 automobile and specialized vehicles, as well as resources of contractors can be involved to eliminate technological violations in all branches of the energy companies. They also have at their disposal over two thousand standby power supply sources with a total capacity of more than 60 MW, which can be used to temporarily supply power, primarily to socially significant facilities in the regions.
Out of the number of highly qualified workers who received additional training, 172 emergency restoration crews of increased mobility were formed, consisting of more than a thousand people and more than 300 vehicles, who are ready at any time to go to liquidate emergencies in any region of Russia.
