General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy quickly arrived in the city of Tver to personally monitor the readiness of crews mobilized from other branches of the companies to eliminate consequences of the hurricane, the passage of which is expected in the region on 13-14 March.

Igor Makovskiy visited the Tver production base of the Tverenergo branch, where the crews and specialized vehicles arrived from the branches of the companies for further distribution to districts of the Tver region. The head of the company held a meeting of the operational headquarters, informed the heads of the branches of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region and supervisors of the crews about the current operational situation and the forecasted changes of the passage of the hurricane wind through the territory of the Central Federal District, and also gave a number of instructions aimed at increasing the efficiency and the effectiveness of eliminating technological violations in the electric grid complex. Also, Igor Makovskiy, during an inspection of specialized vehicles, personally talked with all the specialists of the arrived crews.

According to the forecast of the Hydrometeorological Centre of the Russian Federation, on the night of 12 to 13 March, the Tver region will fall into the epicenter of a hurricane. According to the decision of Igor Makovskiy, an intensified grouping of forces and equipment of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region was concentrated in the perimeter of the Tverenergo branch - 121 crews, more than 800 people and more than 250 pieces of equipment were relocated from 16 branches to the territory of the Upper Volga Region in advance.

“Once again, the bad weather is testing the strength of the power grid complex of the Central and Volga Federal Districts. To minimize the negative consequences of the weather and promptly restore energy supply to consumers, we attracted the maximum forces and resources of the two companies to the regions that are forecast to be hit the most by the bad weather. This once again demonstrates not only the willingness of our specialists to work in the most difficult weather conditions, but also the ability of the largest electric grid company to mobilize all its resources and be a united team at the right time,” stressed General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy.
