Specialists of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kostromaenergo” performed connection to electric grids of a building of the oncological centre in Kostroma. To power the facility, the power engineers constructed a packaged two-transformer substation of 6/0.4 kV, cable lines of 6 kV and 0.4 kV. The total power output is 740 kW.
The large-scale project for the construction of the oncological dispensary is implemented as part of the national project “Healthcare” under the personal supervision of Governor Sergey Sitnikov. The initiative of the head of the region on the construction of the new cancer dispensary was supported by Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets. The Kostroma region was included in the priority list of the country’s subjects to which the federal budget has been allocated as part of the national oncology program. The total project cost exceeds 2 billion rubles.
On an area of 8.5 thousand sq. m. the cancer centre will house a radiation therapy department with two linear accelerators, a magnetic resonance imaging room, a disinfection and sterilization department, a clinical diagnostic laboratory, an intensive care unit, and an operation unit. Putting the medical facility into operation, planned before the end of 2020, will significantly improve the quality of care for cancer patients in the Kostroma region.
