The head of the company monitored the progress of the creation of the Unified Grid Control Centre (UGCC) of Tulenergo, which includes the creation of a modern automated system for operational, technological and situational management of electric power facilities in the Tula region.
Igor Makovskiy emphasized the importance of upgrading this system to ensure the technological feasibility of implementing the remote control functions of equipment and devices of substations from remote control centres, and, as a consequence, the capability to change the online maintenance schemes of substations.
“A unified grid control centre is one of the supporting projects of the concept of digital transformation. We included the Tula region in the pool of pilot regions, where it is being implemented ahead of schedule. The UGCC in your region will be one of the first in the service area of the company,” stressed the head of the company.
Dispatch control from Distribution Zones will be transferred to the Unified Centre, from here centrally, it will manage online all grids in the region, coordinate the work of on-site and repair crews. As a result, the responsiveness to technological violations, the speed of their location and elimination will significantly increase.
One of the main topics of the working meeting with the leadership of Tulenergo was the process of consolidation of electric grid assets in the region. Igor Makovskiy once again drew the attention of the branch’s employees to the fact that the consolidation of grids, the reduction of the degree of fragmentation of territorial grid companies, are provided for by the Development Strategy for the electric grid complex, approved by the Government of the Russian Federation. Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region carry out this work systematically, within the framework of the corresponding target program.
At the end of the meeting, Igor Makovskiy noted that the priority of the Tula electric grid complex is indicators of reliability and quality of electricity supply to consumers, as well as integrated automation and digitalization of the electric grid, which will allow not only to respond to violations in a timely manner, but also to predict them, effectively using all available resources in Tulenergo.
