Igor Makovskiy: “High-quality training of personnel allows us to ensure successful and effective solution of strategic tasks facing our companies”

IDGC of Centre, PJSC and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region, PJSC (operating under the brands of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region) summed up the results of staff training for 9 months of 2019. 20,681 employees of both Companies received new knowledge and skills within the framework of various forms of training. 94% of the total number of trainees are representatives of industrial specialties. Among those who received new knowledge were representatives of administrative and managerial personnel (1,182 people), including 537 managers at various levels, as well as 72 employees related to auxiliary personnel.

8,368 employees passed vocational training, retraining and advanced training in corporate training centres. Of the total number of trained workers, 9,742 power engineers completed various advanced training courses.

The concept of professional training for the staff of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region implies continuous training of all categories. The result of this approach is, in particular, an increase in the number of employees with higher education. Currently, the company employs 22,509 specialists with higher education, 2,139 employees have two or more diplomas of graduation, 58 are candidates of science, 1 is a Doctor of Science. The average number of employees at Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region is currently 52,045 people.
