Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region contributes to the development of the infrastructure of religious institutions

13 November 2019

Specialists of the branch “Rosseti Centre Kurskenergo” performed reconstruction of the decorative illumination of the Orthodox architectural monument - the Temple of All Saints (All Saints’ Church) in the city of Kursk. In accordance with the design project, the power engineers installed 50 modern energy-saving lamps on its facade, which provide natural colour reproduction. Work to restore the artistic lighting of the Temple was carried out as part of the implementation of the initiatives of the governor of the Kursk region to upgrade the appearance of the regional centre.

Local residents and parishioners appreciated the renewal of the Temple’s lighting. On behalf of the residents of Kursk, the clergy expressed gratitude to Rosseti Centre for taking care of the city and its historical monuments. “The Temple of All Saints has more than two hundred years of history. The artistic lighting emphasizes all its beauty and uniqueness - it creates a feeling of weightlessness, attraction,” said the rector of the Temple of All Saints, Archpriest Vitaly Kireev.

“We try to help spiritual institutions in all regions of our presence. At the same time, our help is not limited to the scope of production activities. Employees of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region actively participate in restoration work and improvement of churches, temples and monasteries, as well as in charity events aimed at their help and support. We consider this activity as our feasible contribution to the preservation and revival of Russia’s cultural heritage,” stressed Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region.
