In 2019, a record of 3,700 employees took part in the “Leaders of Russia” contest from Rosseti’s Group of Companies, while last year a little more than 100 people were registered. Thus, almost 11% of the holding’s management team submitted applications for the competition.
Such an unprecedented increase in interest in the project is due, among other things, to the fact that the employees of Rossetei, participants and winners of the “Leaders of Russia” contest last year, received career advancements and took leading positions in the holding structure.
An additional effective incentive for staff to actively submit registration applications was the All-Russian contest “Energy Leaders” held by Rosseti in August 2019.
The project was the first industry projection of the “Leaders of Russia” contest. Organized according to similar selection principles and with similar evaluation criteria, together with ANO “Russia is a Country of Opportunities”, the contest “Energy Leaders” attracted the attention of not only employees of the company, but also employees of third-party electric grid companies - about 2,000 applications for participation were submitted. 102 winners, determined at the final stage, were included in the “gold” personnel reserve of the group. Despite the fact that the results of the competition were announced only in August of this year, several decisions have already been made to appoint winners to higher posts.
