Power engineers of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region restore energy supply to consumers, disrupted by the bad weather during the night of 27-28 October

28 October 2019

Please, be reminded that a hurricane wind with a force of up to 26 m/s, which hit the Tver, Yaroslavl, Kostroma, Nizhny Novgorod, Vladimir, Kirov, Ivanovo regions and the Mari El Republic, became the cause of power outages. Power engineers immediately began to restore power supply.

The operational headquarters for elimination of consequences of the bad weather and the information support of consumers began to work at Rosseti Centre. The branches of Rosseti Centre - Tverenergo, Yarenergo, Kostromaenergo and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region - Nizhnovenergo, Vladimirenergo, Ivenergo and Kirovenergo, which were most affected by the bad weather, were transferred to a special mode of operation. The branch “Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Marienergo” has a high-availability mode. For the rapid restoration of power supply, 122 crews of repair personnel and 117 specialized vehicles were involved. With the onset of morning, crews of increased mobility were fully withdrawn from the reserve, fully equipped with emergency supplies and communications. To minimize the interruption in energy supply to consumers, the forces of contracting organizations were brought in.

Operating actions of personnel, clear interaction with the territorial divisions of the Ministry of Emergencies, local authorities, and the positive changes of eliminating the consequences of technological disruptions caused by the hurricane allow us to make a forecast about the restoration of electricity supply in the near future. Work on all sections of damaged power lines in the service area of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region will be carried out until consumers’ power supply is fully restored.

More complete information on the progress of the restoration of power supply by Rosseti Centre can be obtained by calling the toll-free direct line of power engineers at 800-800-50-115 or the short number 13-50 (for landline phones), or by calling +7 915-38-000-38 in Viber. In case of emergency situations, consumers of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region can send messages to +7 (920) 05-05-777 through the WhatsApp and Viber applications.
