On 28 June, the solemn closing of the XI Summer Sports Games of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region took place. Over the course of two days, more than 500 power athletes competed for the title of the strongest.
A total of 7 sets of awards were played: in volleyball, mini-football, chess, table tennis, athletics, swimming, as well as the team event.
As a result, the team championship of the Summer Games of 2019 was won by the team of Kirovenergo. The cup for the second place was taken by colleagues from Udmurtenergo. Bronze winners of the sports games were representatives of Belgorodenergo.
In the team event in athletics, Udmurtenergo’s athletes took the first step of the podium. The second place is for the team of Kirovenergo, the third - for Ryazanenergo.
In the team event in swimming, Belgorodenergo’s swimmers won the championship, Nizhnovenergo took the silver, and the Tula power engineers won the bronze.
A representative of the team of Udmurtenergo became the winner of the women’s chess competitions, the second place was taken by a power engineer from Yarenergo, and Kirovenergo was the third. Among men, the places were distributed as follows - Udmurtenergo is in the first place, the second place was taken by Nizhnovenergo, and the third place went to Yarenergo.
In mini-football the team of Ryazanenergo was placed on the highest step of the podium. They are followed by power engineers of the Kirov branch of the company, the third place of honour is with Yarenergo.
In a tense volleyball fight, the team of Udmurtenergo won, which snatched the victory from colleagues of Smolenskenergo. The team of Kirovenergo closed the top three in volleyball.
Table tennis competitions in doubles ended in a confident victory for representatives of Udmurtia. The second place was taken by athletes of Belgorodenergo, the third place is with representatives of Kalugaenergo.
Acting First Deputy General Director - Director of Development of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Vitaly Akulichev addressed with welcoming words to the winners and participants. He congratulated the participants with good results and wished them continued success and new records. Victor Ablezgov, Chairman of the primary trade union organization of Rosseti Centre, also took part in the awarding ceremony.
