This information was announced at a meeting under the leadership of the head of the department Alexey Aleshin. The inspection of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision (Rostekhnadzor) was held in all branches and the executive office of the company. During it, the state of the grid complex of IDGC of Centre was assessed.
In total, representatives of the department checked 768 35-110 kV substations, about 50,000 km of overhead lines, about 4,300 transformer substations and distribution points, and 80 industrial administrative buildings and facilities.
As a result of the check, the company’s good organization in maintaining the equipment of substations and overhead power lines, the fast-moving and systematic reduction in the number of technological failures in the last 3 years and the average duration of power supply interruptions, and the satisfactory condition of the equipment in operation were noted.
“Cooperation with Rostekhnadzor, including within the framework of such inspections, is very valuable and useful for us. As the practice shows, it is an effective tool for improving the quality of work of electric grid companies and ensuring the maintenance of the equipment condition index in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Energy. The analysis, carried out jointly with Rostechnadzor’s specialists, will allow the company to more effectively solve the tasks of preparing for the heating period, further reducing the number and average duration of technological interruptions in the grids, ensuring reliable and uninterrupted power supply to consumers,” stressed General Director of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy.
The check also highlighted the responsiveness of IDGC of Centre’s personnel to the comments indicated during the inspection: 75% of them were eliminated before the end of the verification activities, the elimination of the remaining ones will be completed before the end of 2019 as part of the production programs. And also - to the systematic work organized in the company to improve the level of training of employees.
