To ensure uninterrupted power supply to consumers, the companies took all necessary measures.

“On weekends and holidays, a great responsibility is placed on power engineers, therefore, a special mode of operation is introduced for this period in the grid companies. During the spring celebrations, the work of dispatching and technical services, duty operators of substations of branches, first responding mobile crews will be in the high availability mode being ready for immediate departure to carry out emergency recovery works continuously,” stressed the head of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Igor Makovskiy.

In order to avoid disconnection of consumers on holidays, the most reliable power supply scheme will be maintained: all kinds of work on existing equipment of power grid facilities, except for restoration works are suspended, for which off-road vehicles, tools, materials and protective equipment are prepared.
