Head of the Ryazan Region Nikolay Lyubimov and General Director of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy held a working meeting

On 25 April 2019, a working meeting took place in Moscow between Governor of the Ryazan Region Nikolay Lyubimov and General Director of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy. Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region - Director of the branch “Ryazanenergo” Mikhail Podlyagin and General Director of JSC “Ryazan Region Development Corporation” Yury Ivanov also took part in the meeting.

At the meeting, the parties discussed issues of increasing the availability of connection to grids of Ryazanenergo, providing energy infrastructure for promising investment projects implemented in the Ryazan region. These are enterprises of the agricultural complex, emerging industrial parks (large industrial areas with the infrastructure necessary for locating production). “The implementation of these projects will increase the investment attractiveness of the region, create favourable conditions for further socio-economic development of the Ryazan region,” stressed Igor Makovskiy, the head of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region.

Also, during the meeting, Nikolay Lyubimov and Igor Makovskiy evaluated the implementation of the regulatory agreement signed between IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region and the Ryazan Region in the framework of the RIF-2019. This agreement provides for the implementation of a comprehensive program for modernization of the electric grid complex of the Ryazan region using digital technologies and fixing the strategic relationship for consolidation of power grid assets on the basis of ROSSETI’s Group of Companies.

According to the first stage of the Program “Digital Transformation of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region 2019-2030” in the period of 2019-2021 the power engineers will optimize district dispatch points and create a single centre for operational, technological and situational grid control (UGCC). The 110 kV substation “Vozha” will be digital. The facility provides for the creation of a process bus based on the innovative IEC 61850 instant data exchange protocol, technical re-equipment of 110 kV outdoor switchgear using new microprocessor protection and control parameters.

The project “Digital Distribution Zone” will also be implemented there, which involves the implementation of distributed automation technology and intelligent management systems without participation of personnel. The service area of the Distribution Zone will include the micro-district of the city of Ryazan Solotcha, Ryazansky and Rybnovsky districts of the Ryazan region.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed readiness for long-term cooperation in improving the investment climate in the region, developing business and providing comfort for the region’s population.
