Specialists of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region organized on the basis of the university an Open Doors Day for students of the Faculty of Electric Power of Ivanovo State Power Engineering University. A presentation of the companies was made by HR officers. They told the students about the energy companies as an employer, familiarized them with the conditions of work in the branches and outlined the current trends in the development of the modern electric power industry.
During the lecture on the implementation of PJSC ROSSETI’s concept “Digital Transformation-2030”, Acting First Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre Vitaly Akulichev noted: “In the modern realities, the power grid complex of Russia daily faces the need to modernize and upgrade existing equipment, data transmission and communication systems. All these technological prerequisites became the impetus for the development of the Digital Transformation Concept, which the energy companies will implement consistently and in stages.” Addressing the students, he stressed: “It is you, as future potential specialists in the energy sector, will have to implement the ideas of digitalization!”
Specialists of the HR Management Department told the students about the personnel policy of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region, aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of using personnel potential, motivating staff to achieve the company’s goals, ensure the growth of its professionalism. Special attention is paid to improving the professional level of power engineers; for this, the companies have set up training centres, practice grounds and regularly conduct training events.
During the event, the students had the opportunity to discuss with the representatives of the personnel services of the branches questions about internship, work in students’ crews and employment prospects.
In addition, as part of the Open Doors Day, the future power engineers visited the 110 kV substation “Ivanovskaya-15”, where they learned about the control system of the power facility and examined the existing equipment. In total, the event was attended by over 250 students.
