Igor Makovskiy discussed with the head of Prioksky Department of Rostekhnadzor Vasily Chelenko issues of energy security and safety, including its important component - the safe and secure operation of electrical grids

General Director of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy, within the framework of his visit to the Tula region, held a working meeting with the head of Prioksky Department of Rostechnadzor Vasily Chelenko. The parties discussed the issues of ensuring energy security and safety in the operation of power facilities, the reliability of the Tula power grid complex during the heating period, the readiness of personnel and equipment for emergency recovery operations.

Special attention was paid to the importance of a successful repair campaign. As noted by Igor Makovskiy, the scheduled maintenance work is one of the main measures to improve the reliability and quality of power supply in the Tula region. In the current year, it is planned to spend about 390.2 million rubles on these purposes.

“Our main task is the safe operation of electric grid facilities entrusted to us, as well as ensuring the unconditional reliability of power supply to consumers,” the head of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region emphasized.

The power equipment at 37 substations of 35-110 kV will be repaired in the service area of the branch “Tulenergo”. There will be a major overhaul of 1,254 transformer substations of 6-10/0.4 kV, 99 kilometres of high-voltage lines of 35-110 kV and 3,634 kilometres of power lines of 0.4 - 10 kV. 902 hectares of routes along 0.4-110 kV overhead lines will be cleared from trees and shrubs.

At the end of the meeting, the head of IDGC thanked the head of Prioksky Department of Rostechnadzor for effective cooperation in the implementation of the priority common task of ensuring the reliability of power supply to consumers in the Tula region.
