The head of the company monitored the progress in fulfilling the tasks in the field of digitalization of the regional electric grid infrastructure, which he delivered to the staff of a branch of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region “Tulenergo” during the last visit.
During the trip, Igor Makovskiy got acquainted with the project of the Unified Grid Control Centre (UGCC) of Tulenergo, which includes the creation of a modern automated system of operational, technological and situational management of electric grid facilities of the Tula region.
Igor Makovskiy stressed the importance of upgrading this system to ensure the technological possibility of implementing the functions of remote control of equipment and devices of substations from remote control centres, and, as a result, the possibility of changing the operational service schemes of substations. “We plan that the main grid dispatchers will start working in the new single grid management centre by the end of this year,” stressed Igor Makovskiy.
The UGCC creation will allow to optimize the process of managing information and resources, as well as eliminate the human factor in terms of receiving, analyzing and transmitting data on technological violations in grids of all voltage levels.
Also, during the visit, General Director of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region held a meeting with experts from the security unit of Tulaenergo, at which he set tasks to enhance work in terms of improving payment discipline and reducing losses in the branch’s grids.
Igor Makovskiy noted that the priorities of the Tula power grid complex are reliability and quality indicators for consumers, as well as complex automation and digitalization of the power grid, which will not only respond to violations in a timely manner, but also predict them and use all resources available in Tulenergo more efficiently.
