Igor Makovskiy: “The company has taken a good pace since the beginning of the year, providing 20 regions of the country with the necessary capacity”

Since the beginning of the year, specialists of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region (included in ROSSETI’s Group of Companies) have connected a number of industrial, housing and social facilities to grids.

Among the large and significant industrial enterprises connected by IDGC of Centre is the plant for production of alcohol and fodder yeast Angel East Rus., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Chinese company Angel Yeast Co., Ltd., one of the world’s leading yeast producers, which opened in late February in the Lipetsk region. The new enterprise, located in the special economic zone “Dankov”, will be the largest in Europe and the most modern in Russia in its field. It will produce 15 thousand tons of dry yeast per year, the same pressed and another 30 thousand tons of organic fertilizers. Products will be shipped to regions of Russia, the CIS countries, as well as to the Middle East. The total connected capacity of the facility was 2 MW.

The power engineers of the Kursk branch of IDGC of Centre in the first quarter of 2019 increased by 0.4 MW the capacity of the grain drying complex of CJSC “Agrofirm Rylskaya”. Currently, Kurskenergo is completing work to increase by 2 MW the capacity of the production building of “NPO Composite” LLC, the country’s largest producer of pulp pipes for hydromechanization and the mining industry.

Colleagues from the Yaroslavl branch of IDGC of Centre, during the same period, provided electricity to a large agro-industrial complex - a site for temporary storage and mixing of organic fertilizers for needs of agriculture in the Pereslavsky municipal district.

On account of the power engineers of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region - the completion of the first stage of grid connection of a large industrial site for production of sausage products in the Vladimir region. Vladimirenergo’s specialists provided the facility with 4.5 MW of additional capacity. The second stage is scheduled for next year. And in the Kirov region, new workshops for production of glued timber of “Holtz House” LLC in the city of Luza were connected to the company’s grids.

A significant amount of work was also performed by specialists of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region in January-March in grid connection of housing and related infrastructure. One of the significant projects in this area was implemented by the power engineers of a branch of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region - Marienergo, which carried out works on the grid connection of a new transformer substation designed to supply electricity to the “Yasnaya Polyana” residential complex. The first house of the residential complex “Yasnaya Polyana” will be commissioned in the summer of 2019. In addition to housing, it is planned to build two schools, three sports stadiums, six kindergartens, a polyclinic and two shopping centres.

In the Ryazan region, the power engineers of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region provided more than 1 MW of capacity to the first stage of the residential complex “Sheremetyevsky quarter” at one of the largest residential districts under construction of the regional centre of Dashkovo-Pesochnya. A large-scale project with a broad social infrastructure and convenient transport links is being implemented as part of the state program “Housing”, aimed at creating a market for environmentally friendly, comfortable, and affordable for most citizens housing of economy class. In addition to apartment buildings, by the end of this year, a school for 500 pupils and a kindergarten will be built here. The total connected capacity, within the framework of the grid connection contract, will be 7 MW.
