IDGC of Centre within the framework of the “Digital Transformation 2030” Concept of ROSSETI’s Group of Companies began testing smart digital equipment in the Voronezh region

Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division together with representatives of the development company, installed a smart digital controlled disconnector (the disconnector) on a power line in Nizhnedevitsky district of the Voronezh region at the end of last week. The device is capable of locating fault in the grid in real time, its character, remotely transmitting all to the dispatcher and, if necessary, automatically disconnecting the faulty section of the line.

The trial operation of the device is carried out in the framework of the Concept of digital transformation of PJSC ROSSETI, implemented on behalf of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. “The use of the disconnector on the power line will significantly reduce the time to eliminate technological violations and significantly increase the reliability and quality of power supply to consumers,” stressed Igor Makovskiy, General Director of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region.
