The first day of sporting events of the VI hockey tournament of IDGC of Centre - the managing organization of IDGC of Centre and Volga Region ended in Tver.
This year the competition was held under the new rules. Participants were divided into two groups according to the results of last year’s hockey tournament. The teams of Orelenergo, Tverenergo, Belgorodenergo and Kalugaenergo from the first group received the right to compete for the gold cup.
Players from Kostroma, Kursk, Lipetsk, as well as “Trade Union energo” (a joint team of the executive office of IDGC of Centre and Yarenergo) are fighting for the silver cup in the second group.
On the first day of the tournament, each team played 2 games in a group.
At the end of the day, in the struggle for the gold cup, the undisputed leader is the team of Tver power engineers, who have shown their bright skills not for the first year. Power engineers from Belgorod and Kaluga are at the 2nd and 3rd places, respectively.
The team of Lipetskenergo leads the competition for the silver cup. The teams of Kursk sportsmen and “Trade Union energo” are at the 2nd and 3rd places.
On the second day of the tournament, teams in the groups will play one match at a time, according to the results of which holders of the gold and silver hockey cups will be determined.
