About 14 thousand employees of IDGC of Centre in 2018 got the opportunity to undergo vocational training

IDGC of Centre summed up the results of staff training in 2018. 13,870 employees of the company received new knowledge and skills in the framework of various forms of training. More than 94% of the total number of trained - representatives of industrial specialties.

Among those who received new knowledge were representatives of administrative and managerial specialties (788 people), including 331 managers at various levels, as well as 39 employees related to support staff.

105 employees of the Company received higher and secondary vocational education. 3,238 employees underwent vocational training, retraining and advanced training at corporate training centres. 4,272 power engineers graduated from various advanced training courses.

In order to continuously improve the knowledge and skills of employees, the company regularly launches new training projects. For example, at the end of April 2018, IDGC of Centre launched remote training of employees from among the personnel reserve for the positions of “Chief of Distribution Zone”, “Deputy Director of the Branch for Sales and Development of Services”, “Deputy Director of the Branch - Chief Engineer” and “Deputy Chief Engineer of the Branch”. The training, designed for three quarters, included a distance self-study by participants of training materials for training units on the Company’s corporate portal, quarterly testing based on the results of the material studied and participation in full-time trainings on improving management skills conducted on the basis of corporate training centres. In total, these projects covered more than 500 reservists of IDGC of Centre.

Last year, the implementation of a comprehensive training program for employees of customer service offices and marketing departments and value-added services of branches continued. The program, launched in 2015 by the Human Resources Department, helps them learn the basics of customer-centric service and conflict management skills and resolve issues with existing customers, master effective sales service methods and work with new customers. Starting in two pilot regions, it demonstrated its effectiveness and was accepted for implementation in all branches of the company.

The concept of personnel training of IDGC of Centre implies continuous training of all categories of specialists. The result of this approach is, in particular, an increase in the number of employees with higher education. Currently, the company employs 12,164 employees with higher education, 1,193 have two or more higher education diplomas, 38 are candidates of science, and one is a doctor of science.

The number of IDGC of Centre’s staff currently is 30,486 people.
