Employees of branches of IDGC of Centre (it operates in 20 regions of the Central Federal District) during the winter holidays, under a long-standing good tradition, congratulated children and teenagers from educational, healthcare and social institutions on the New Year and Christmas. The power engineers held holiday and charity events for the children and gave them gifts.
Representatives of the Youth Council of the branch “Tverenergo” organized a New Year's matinee for young patients of children’s tuberculosis sanatorium No. 2 in Tver. The holiday event was the final part of the charity marathon conducted by young power engineers at their branch, which included lots of Christmas decorations and homemade sweets. All proceeds from the marathon were used to buy toys and stationery for the patients of the sanatorium, as well as to purchase necessary equipment for the medical institution. For a number of years, employees of the Tver branch of IDGC of Centre have been helping the children’s tuberculosis sanatorium on their personal initiative. “Children always wait for you and prepare for each meeting. Thanks to the staff of Tverenergo for taking care of our little patients! It is very nice to see the burning eyes of the children, we are grateful to you for this!”, the head physician of the institution Olga Minina shared her emotions.
Employees of the branch “Tambovenergo” visited the New Year’s tree with inmates of the sponsored boarding school for pupils with disabilities in the village of Krasnenkaya in Tambovsky district. The power engineers congratulated the children on the upcoming New Year and Christmas and handed them gifts. The pupils of the boarding school, in turn, presented the guests with a festive concert and a performance with participation of fairy-tale characters. Tambovenergo’s employees have been patronizing the educational institution for 20 years. They assist it in improving the material and technical base, regularly visit and congratulate its inmates on holidays.
Employees of Orelenergo traditionally congratulate pupils of the sponsored Znamenskaya boarding school on holidays. So, it was for this New Year: Father Frost came to visit the children with gifts in the person of the head of the mobilization preparation and state defense department of the branch Alexander Filippov. And employees of Mglinsky Distribution Zone of the branch of IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division on the eve of the New Year congratulated children from the sponsored Mglinskaya special boarding school for orphans and children left without parental care.
The power engineers congratulate not only their sponsored. Employees of the branch “Kurskenergo” visit pupils of one of children’s boarding schools in their region every year. This time they visited children from the Novoposelenskaya boarding school for orphans and children left without parental care and with disabilities, congratulated them on the coming New Year and Christmas and presented them with sweet gifts.
A similar tradition exists among their colleagues from the branch “Kostromaenergo”. This year, the Kostroma power engineers organized a festive event for pupils of the regional Centre for social assistance to families and children. The Centre was visited by Father Frost and Snow Maiden, as well as Electronics, who told the children about electrical safety rules and held contests and interactive events for them with participation of fairy-tale New Year characters. “Children from 7 to 14 years of age who are left without parental care live and study with us. Such events are very important for them. Power engineers our frequent guests. I thank them for their sensitive and kind attitude towards our pupils!” said Natalia Chistyakova, Director of the Centre.
